About us
Blair & Son Floor Co. began in 1951 when founder John Blair set out to change how people viewed hardwood flooring in their homes. A native of Arizona, he believed hardwood floors were not only beautiful but also practical, durable, and built to last. Through skill, craftsmanship, and dedication to quality work, John Blair helped establish a reputation for hardwood flooring that continues through the Blair family today.
Three Generations of Hardwood Flooring Craftsmanship
After 19 years in business, founder John Blair partnered with his son Jim to form Blair & Son Floor Co. The family legacy continued in 1992 when Jim’s son Johnny began learning the trade of hardwood floor installation and refinishing, working alongside his grandfather for ten years and gaining the skills and experience to carry the business forward.
Today, Johnny is stepping into the ownership role while continuing the Blair family tradition of quality craftsmanship. Jim remains an important part of the company, meeting with customers and maintaining the strong relationships that have helped Blair & Son Floor Co. earn its trusted reputation.
Johnny and his father Jim proudly carry forward the legacy of founder John Blair through hard work, meticulous craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to customer service.
