Johnny Blair – 3rd Generation
Johnny Blair represents the third generation of the Blair family in the hardwood flooring industry. He began learning the trade at just 12 years old, working alongside his grandfather John and gaining hands on experience in installation, sanding, staining, and refinishing. By 25, Johnny was leading crews and personally applying the final coat on every project.
With decades of experience and deep knowledge of modern finishing systems, Johnny is known for delivering consistent, high quality results on custom hardwood flooring projects. Today he proudly continues the Blair & Son Flooring legacy that began in 1951. Outside of work, Johnny enjoys fishing, snowboarding, go kart racing, music, art, and spending time with his wife Karla and their son Dylan.
Jim Blair – 2nd Generation
Jim Blair began working in the family flooring business in 1968 alongside his father John. Starting at just 12 years old, he spent summers learning the trade while working on gymnasium floors and military housing projects.
By age 19, Jim was running the sanding and refinishing contracts at McChord Air Force Base, Fort Lewis, and Vancouver, Washington. Over the years, he helped grow the company through work with contractors, homeowners, and flooring companies across the region. His leadership helped establish Blair & Son Floor Co. as a trusted name in hardwood flooring.

1st Generation
Blair & Son Floor Co. was founded in 1951 by John Blair. Originally from Arizona, John believed hardwood flooring could transform homes by combining beauty, durability, and long term practicality.
Through craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work, he built a business that would become a trusted name in hardwood flooring for generations to come.
Karla Blair – Office Manager
Karla Blair brings extensive customer service and business management experience to Blair & Son Floor Co. Prior to joining the family business, she operated her own massage practice for 14 years as a licensed massage practitioner.
Today Karla manages office operations and helps ensure every customer receives the same care and professionalism that define the Blair family reputation.
