JOHNNY BLAIR – 3RD GENERATION
Johnny started in the hardwood flooring industry at the age of 12. He was trained by his grandfather John, working side-by-side for ten years, learning everything he needed to know about being a custom flooring contractor, from installation and staining to sanding and refinishing. At 25, Johnny was leading crews and final coating every job himself. Johnny has experience with every kind of finishing product in the industry and is considered one of the best. He continues the Blair & Son Floor Company legacy. In his spare time, Johnny enjoys fishing, snowboarding, go-kart racing, music, art, and spending time with his wife Karla and son Dylan.
JIM BLAIR – 2ND GENERATION
Jim started in the hardwood floor industry in 1968 with his father, John, when he was only 12. During the summer, he worked with his father on gymnasium floors and military housing. At 19, he ran the sanding and refinishing contracts at McCord, Fort Lewis, and Vancouver, Washington. His business continued to grow while doing work through contractors, homeowners, and other floor covering companies. This dynamic businessman spent his life growing the business into a reputable household name one can trust.
JOHN BLAIR – 1ST GENERATION
Blair Flooring began in 1951. Native Arizonian John Blair wanted to change how people thought about hardwood flooring in their homes. He knew he had the skill and knowledge. He just had to convince folks that hardwood floors were not only beautiful, practical, and but also long-lasting.
KARLA
Johnny's wife Karla enjoyed a 14-year career as a self-employed Licensed Massage Practitioner. Throughout that time, she learned the ins and outs of customer service and business management. She happily works now as an office manager for the family business.
